As someone who lived in Palawan for almost two years, I am creating this project to share my experience living on the island. I have beautiful memories of Palawan as I lived peacefully here. Palawan is my ideal place to live and retire.

Voted multiple times as the “World’s Best Island” by international travel magazines, Palawan is home to iconic destinations like El Nido, Coron, and Puerto Princesa and hidden gems like Port Barton and San Vicente. From its UNESCO World Heritage Sites to secluded beaches and lush jungles, this island paradise offers something for every kind of traveler.
I was lucky to experience living like a local in Palawan. When you arrive at the Puerto Princesa International Airport, you can feel that peace in your heart. I never felt chaos in my mind the moment the airplane landed in Puerto Princesa.
I highly recommend Palawan as the first island to visit in the Philippines if you want to avoid the chaotic life in the city. Based on my personal experience, I named this blog Chill Palawan, as it lives up to the name.
